We'll design a training program to suit you and your pup making sure you have the knowledge & skills to make a change. We'll meet, do an assessment & chat about what your expectations and aspirations are. We'll provide the guidance, training notes and all the support you need to end up with a happy, healthy, well trained pooch.

Backyard Puppy School

Training your puppy right from the start will ensure your new furry friend grows into a healthy, happy adult dog. The critical development period between 8 - 16 weeks is the perfect time to instil some life long behaviours and habits. A happy, well behaved pup means a happy, proud human.

What's included:

• 3 x 60 minute one on one training sessions 
• Phone/email contact between sessions
• 3 weeks post training support via phone & email
• All support materials

Session content includes but not limited to:

• Understanding your puppy & how they learn
• Clicker Training
• Obedience basics / Foundation skills - Sit, drop, recall, loose lead & heel walking
• Toilet training
• Mouthing

Rescue Dog New Home Support & Training

If you've adopted a rescue dog, we can provide you with the support and advice you need to help settle your new friend into their forever home. We use positive reinforcement and lots of gentle care, love & patience!

Training walks (Owner & pup)

One of the best things you can do for you and your pup is teach them how to walk properly on a lead. Not only will it make the walk more pleasurable but you'll feel in control and able to manage your dog if you ever come across a challenging situation.

We'll teach you a 3 step training method which will give you the skills to achieve a reliable heel walk transitioning into a relaxed loose lead walk.
