5 fun things for you & your pooch over Christmas

#1 - Pea in an ice block

This is such a simple thing but provides lots of fun for your pooch. Grab an ice tray pop a pea in each, fill with water and voila! Not only will this be entertaining but it will keep your pup cool during those hot summer days as well as provide a wee pea treat!

#2 - Liver treats in a toilet roll

This is an old favourite and never seems to disappoint. Whether liver treats, puppy treats or any other treat you deem appropriate, a few of these in a toilet/paper towel roll will do the trick. Not only will they have fun trying to get to the treats but they'll get a bit of a run around too!

#3 - Mix it up

Sometimes a change in routine can be really exciting. So, next scheduled walk try finding a new place of interest. Search out that new walking track. Find a river or creek or head to a doggie beach you haven't visited before. There are places out there that only dog walkers know about and they really are worth the effort.

#4 - New toy

Just like us, our pup loves something new to play with. So, if it's been awhile, head down to your local pet shop. If you can find something that you can both play with, all the better!

#5- Puppacino!

One of the best things about having a dog is they're  great companions! So many places now are dog friendly and even cater for our furry friends. Nothing better than a latte, the paper and your pooch at your feet. Best of all, it keeps them active. Nothing better than watching the passerbys and getting the occasional pat or two.
